Prevent words from breaking using the WordPress Block Editor

Updated on

Sometimes you want two words to stick together – no matter what screen size.

Our friend   will help you solve this mission (non-breaking-space):

Simply replace an existing space between two words with it, and they will stay together while other words will wrap individually.

How to add a non-breaking-space

In the following example I apply it to a heading, but it works with any text block (paragraph, lists, …).

Enjoy with caution

Once you’re done, make sure it works on small screens.

Whether you succeed will depend on:

  • Font size
  • Font type
  • Available space
  • Lengths of the words you connect
  • How many words you’ve connected

Hope this helped!
